Crandall Filling – Model U2-U6 Electronic Scale, Top Fill, Pail Filler

The Crandall Models U2-U6 are electronic scale, net weight fillers capable of running any non-foaming food, petroleum or chemical product that will flow, settle out in the container and does not contain hard solids.  For foaming products, see AF, F and EF series fillers.

FEATURES:

• Capable of filling any free standing glass, metal, plastic or box-in-bag container from 500 ml to 25 litres (pint to 6 US gallons);
• The 100 lb. (50kg.) scales are proven heavy duty design, specially adapted for the filling operation. Accuracy of the filler is + or – 0.1 % of target weight when the machine is properly installed and operated;
• Contact parts available in Brass and Steel (standard), 316 Stainless Steel, Sanitary Stainless Steel, Titanium, or PVC;
• Speeds for gravity filling of water for 20 litre (5 gallon) pails:
  • U2 – 360 pails per hour
  • U3 – 540 pails per hour
  • U4 – 720 pails per hour
  • U5 – 900 pails per hour
  • U6 – 1080 Pails per hour
• 110/120 volts, 50/60 hz., single phase, grounded, clean. Crandall suggests using a surge protector. The scale controller classification is NEMA 4 X, liquid tight;
• 1.5 cu.ft./min. @ 80 p.s.i. or 12 s.c.f.m. @ 80 p.s.i. (40 ltr/min. @ 5.6 kgisq.cm).
